Pi Neo is a Woody fragrance for men launched in September 2008, inspired by The Matrix and the virtual world of the future. It is an independent fragrance, not a variation of Pi: citrusy notes of bergamot and mandarin with anise and the Toscanol molecule at the top, a heart of cedar and myrtle, and a base of patchouli, vanillin and Cosmone, in a futuristic square bottle with a silver top.
Scent story
To me this smells like the future as imagined in 2008 — sleek, silver, slightly unreal. Bergamot and mandarin open in a citrus flash, anise adding a cool licorice shimmer, the Toscanol molecule giving it that futuristic sheen like brushed metal. Cedar and myrtle build a clean woody heart, safraleine adding a leathery whisper, before patchouli and vanillin warm the base into something smooth and modern. Independent of the original Pi and proud of it — a sci-fi woody for optimists. Beginner-friendly.
