Composition
Cartier's 2023 Parfum for men, a dark, gourmand reimagining of the Pasha fougère in an ultra-black refillable bottle. Built around an accord of burnt wood and caramelized sugar, with smoky, spicy and violet facets over a tonka-bean base.
Burnt wood and smoky embers strike first — dark, charred, unapologetically masculine — before caramelized sugar melts in with a rich, almost boozy sweetness. Spicy warmth, a soft violet touch and spun sugar swirl through the middle like a decadent dessert by a bonfire. The dry-down is warm and addictive: tonka bean and woody amber that clings for hours. Strictly an Indian winter-night and special-occasion scent; far too heavy for heat. Not for beginners or fresh-fragrance lovers — this is a bold, divisive gourmand statement.
