Composition
A Library Collection opus by Cecile Zarokian inspired by the Cuban 'El Lector' tobacco-factory tradition. Frankincense, elemi, cardamom, anise and bergamot open onto a heart of tobacco absolute, licorice, lavender, fenugreek and orange blossom, resting on resins, oud, birch tar, vanilla and musk.
To me this smells like frankincense, elemi, cardamom and anise over the Cuban tobacco factory — then tobacco absolute, licorice, lavender and fenugreek deepen the heart. The base is a Library Collection epic: resins, oud, birch tar, vanilla and musk, smoky and endless. Cecile Zarokian's tribute to El Lector. It is royal tobacco: the leaf, elevated to literature.
