Scent story

Nuit d'Issey is the night side of Issey Miyake — bergamot and black pepper struck like a match, then leather, incense and dark woods swallowing the light. To me it smells like a bonfire dying in a desert camp: smoke hanging low, leather boots by the fire, the sky huge and black above. It is raw and elemental, far from the clean citrus the house is famous for. This is the scent of someone comfortable in the dark — smoky, leathery, a little wild. Not for beginners — beginners stay away. This night is not for everyone.
