To me this smells like an antique shop that never sees daylight, saffron, cypriol, ylang ylang, magnolia and rose geranium soaked into velvet and old wood. Then Bulgarian rose, gurjan balsam, guaiac wood, violet and cedar soften in, rich without shouting, like the scene settling around you. There is a thread of gurjan balsam running under everything, rich without shouting. The drydown is all Indian oud, patchouli, vanilla, ambergris and musk, steady as a heartbeat. It leaves you smelling like a handwritten letter. Beginner-friendly — crowd-pleasing without trying too hard.
