Composition
Neroli Sauvage is a citrus-aromatic eau de parfum for women and men by Olivier Creed, launched in 1994. It opens with bergamot and grapefruit, develops verbena and neroli in the heart, and settles into an ambergris base.
To me this is orange blossoms on a sea breeze. Bergamot and grapefruit snap bright, then verbena and neroli bloom, green-white and sparkling, like walking through a citrus grove at noon. The verbena keeps it herbal and awake, never sleepy, like iced tea with lemon on a veranda. I would wear this on every summer morning and never get bored. Ambergris in the base adds just a whisper of salty warmth. It is Creed doing what Creed does best: effortless, radiant freshness that smells expensive without trying. Nothing complicated, nothing hidden, just light, done perfectly. Beginner-friendly.
