To me this is a lavender field that decided to throw a party — lavender and bergamot and mandarin and lemon bright at the top, then a whole garden of flowers: peony, jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang, neroli, peach, lily-of-the-valley, like a bouquet too big for the vase. The base is vanilla and iris and sandalwood, powdery and warm, the scent of a silk dress at dusk. It is Mon Guerlain in its softest, most floral mood — romantic, radiant, and completely lovely.
