Kilian's marshmallow-led floral from The Narcotics line, created with Calice Becker. Neroli, bergamot, pink pepper and coriander open into a heart of orange blossom, honeysuckle, jasmine, marshmallow, iris and rose, over a base of sugar, vanilla, caramel, musk, civet and labdanum.
Scent story
To me this is the smell of being in love in a patisserie. Neroli and bergamot sparkle at the start, pink pepper tickling, then orange blossom, honeysuckle, jasmine and rose drown in marshmallow, soft and pillowy. Sugar, vanilla and caramel melt through musk in the base, with just a whisper of civet to keep it from being innocent. It is sweet, warm, famously addictive, the perfume equivalent of being hugged. People either adore it or find it too much; nobody finds it difficult. Beginner-friendly.
