Composition
Light Blue Pour Homme Eau de Toilette by Dolce & Gabbana, launched in 2007. A woody aromatic fragrance for men with a citrus character. Its composition pairs Sicilian mandarin, grapefruit and bergamot with juniper, rosemary and rosewood, on a base of musk, woods, oakmoss and incense.
To me this smells like Capri in a bottle. Sicilian mandarin and grapefruit explode first, bergamot bright as whitewashed walls, and then juniper and rosemary bring the green hillsides — aromatic, wild, sun-baked. Rosewood adds a smooth woody warmth in the middle. The base is where it gets interesting: musk and woods, oakmoss earthy, a whisper of incense like a chapel door left open. Fresh on top, soulful underneath. An easy recommendation for most noses.
