L'Homme Ultime is the 2016 eau de parfum intensification of YSL L'Homme. It keeps the line's signature ginger-cardamom opening but adds rose, sage and geranium in the heart over cedar and vetiver — a richer, more floral take on the classic.
Scent story
Ultime takes the L'Homme blueprint and turns up the richness. The ginger-cardamom sparkle is still there, but the heart blooms with rose and sage — a dandyish, almost baroque twist that makes it feel more evening, more deliberate. Cedar and vetiver keep the base masculine and grounded. It is bolder than the original EDT and better suited to nights and cooler months. Beginners who found the original too quiet will prefer this; those who loved the original's restraint may find it a touch much.
