Composition
Launched in 2019 in the Le Gemme Men collection, inspired by red jasper. Sicilian mandarin and Sichuan pepper open over sandalwood and cedar, with amyris, musk and vetiver in the base. A woody-musk with an incandescent spicy opening.
To me this smells like stepping into a freshly cut timber yard after rain — the first breath is Sicilian mandarin and a crackle of sichuan pepper, bright and electric, like orange zest bitten open with spice still clinging to the rind. Then the sandalwood and cedar come in deep and dry, planks stacked in shade, amyris adding that soft amber-wood glow at the edges. It settles into clean vetiver and warm musk, like skin that has been out in the sun all day. There is nothing loud here, nothing sweet — just expensive wood, polished by light. Beginner-friendly.
