Composition
La Petite Robe Noire Intense is a feminine eau de parfum from Guerlain, launched in 2016. It opens with Cotton Candy, Blueberry, Raspberry, Cassis and Bergamot. The heart reveals Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine and Orange Blossom settling into a base of Vanilla, Patchouli, Sandalwood and White Musk. Its character is defined by Sweet, Fruity and Woody accords.
To me this smells like a candy stall on a Parisian boulevard at dusk. Cotton candy spins first — pink, weightless, pure sugar — then blueberries and raspberries tumble in, juicy and dark, staining everything purple. Bulgarian rose blooms underneath like the flower seller's stall next door, and vanilla pours over it all, thick and golden. Patchouli and sandalwood keep it from floating away, earthy anchors under the sugar. It's the little black dress after three glasses of champagne — sweet, sparkling, and slightly wicked.
