To me this smells like a rose wrapped in velvet and handed to you in the dark. Raspberry and mandarin, sparkling and juicy; rose, deep and velvety, the star of the show. The 'velvet' and 'suede' aren't notes so much as textures — everything here feels soft, expensive, touchable. It dries down like the inside of a jewellery box: dark, sweet, a little mysterious. This is romance with the lights low — not the first date, but the fiftieth, when you don't need words anymore. Lush, intimate, quietly devastating. Beginner-friendly.
