Composition
Celine Ripert's amber-spicy statement: blood orange, black pepper and spices blaze over a lavender and orange blossom heart, settling into woody notes, moss, white sandalwood, roasted tonka and amber. Intense, seductive and charismatic.
To me this smells like a spice market at golden hour — Warm spices, blood orange, juicy and ruby-bright and black pepper, sharp and crackling crackling with heat and color. The middle belongs to Lavender, clean and calming and orange blossom, white and honeyed, which melt together into something lush and enveloping. The dry-down is Woody notes, dry and textured, moss, damp and green, white sandalwood, pale and creamy, tonka bean, creamy and sweet and golden amber, warm and glowing — smooth, grounding, and quietly addictive. It smells like the best version of an ordinary day. Beginner-friendly — no learning curve here.
