Composition
Johrimal Shamama is a traditional alcohol-free attar from Delhi, crafted by Gulab Singh Johrimal. Pure oil — a drop or two is enough, and it blooms with body heat.
Saffron and spices crackle at the start like a market at dawn — red-gold, warm, alive. Then the oud and rose arrive together, dark wood wrapped in velvet petals, the classic royal pairing. Amber and musk in the base make it smoulder for hours, like embers under ash. This is the attar of nawabs and durbars, dense and unapologetic. It does not ask for attention; it commands it. Dense and commanding — not for beginners.
