Composition
Johrimal Dehn al Oudh is a traditional alcohol-free attar from Delhi, crafted by Gulab Singh Johrimal. Pure oil — a drop or two is enough, and it blooms with body heat.
Dehn al Oudh means the fat of the oud — pure, uncut agarwood oil, the way it has been worn in Delhi for generations. It opens dark and smoky, like wood burning slow in an old haveli fireplace, resinous and deep. As it warms on skin, the resins and amber rise up, golden and almost honeyed beneath the smoke. A drop or two is all you need; this is the kind of oil that announces you before you enter the room. Ancient, powerful, not remotely casual. Pure and powerful — not for beginners.
