Scent story
Basil and geranium open dry and green, like crushed herbs on a hot stone. Tobacco and hay take the heart somewhere austere — not sweet pipe tobacco, but the smell of a field after harvest, sun-bleached and serious. Labdanum and that strange moepel accord darken the base into resin and shadow. To me it smells like a farmhouse at dusk, all wood and earth and quiet. Not the crowd-pleaser the name promises — this one is for loners. Not for beginners — sample it on skin first.
