Composition
Flowers exude their affluence in this journey through the heart of India, by Pierre Montale. Geranium, heliotrope and orange blossom open into jasmine, rose and amber, over sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla and sensual white musk.
To me this smells like an Indian wedding in full swing. Heliotrope powdery-sweet, orange blossom white and bridal, geranium green at the edges — flowers everywhere, garlands on every doorway. Then jasmine and rose bloom through golden amber, rich and celebratory, and the base is pure luxury: vanilla and sandalwood creamy as silk, white musk soft as a whisper, vetiver grounding it like the earth under the mandap. A journey through the heart of India, exactly as promised. Floral, powdery, sweet — and completely, joyfully over the top. Beginner-friendly.
