Composition
Hugo Red, launched in 2013, is a spicy-woody eau de toilette for men. Metallic notes, grapefruit, pink pepper and galbanum open the scent, with rhubarb, metallic notes, pineapple and cedar at the heart. Amber and tonka bean form the dry-down.
This is neon reflected on wet asphalt — metallic notes first, cold and electric like the smell of a new phone, then grapefruit and pink pepper sparking over it, galbanum adding green bite. Rhubarb and pineapple keep it juicy and a little wild. Amber and tonka in the base warm the metal into something wearable — like the city cooling down after midnight. It smells like ambition and late nights, all sharp edges and bright lights. Not subtle, not sorry. The most fun kind of loud. Beginner-friendly.
