Composition
A woody-spicy for men launched in September 2009, created by Harry Fremont. Grapefruit, orange blossom and sage open it; nutmeg, orris root and pimento form the heart; vetiver, woody notes, oakmoss and amber close it. A refined, citrus-bright vetiver inspired by Tom Ford's tailoring.
To me this smells like a grey morning in the city — grapefruit and orange blossom bright against the clouds, sage cool as wet stone. Nutmeg, orris, and pimento warm the middle like a good coat, and vetiver, oakmoss, and amber underneath are dry leaves on pavement. The pimento is allspice warmth, and the orris is cool powder — grey flannel in a bottle, with citrus keeping it awake. The woodsy notes are dry and clean, like a freshly swept study. The most office-safe vetiver ever made: woody, citrus, and impeccably dry. It smells like competence. Beginner-friendly.
