Composition
Launched in 2018 as a richer version of Goldea The Roman Night, composed by Alberto Morillas. Plum and orange blossom open over Madagascar vanilla and jasmine sambac, with patchouli, black musk and moss in the base. A sensual chypre-floral for the night.
To me this smells like Rome after dark — marble still warm from the day, jasmine opening in the courtyards. Plum and orange blossom lead in, juicy and luminous, like the first sip of something cold at a rooftop bar. It is the smell of a night with plans. Madagascar vanilla and jasmine sambac bloom into the heart, creamy and intoxicating, white flowers gone golden in the lamplight, and patchouli, black musk and moss darken the base — earthy, sensual, a little bit dangerous, like the city's ancient stones remembering everything. Richer, deeper, more nocturnal than the original: a Roman night, indeed. Beginner-friendly.
