Composition
A 2011 fresh edition in the Flora by Gucci line. Peony, kumquat, bergamot, Amalfi lemon and mandarin orange open over water notes, green notes, osmanthus and rose, with sandalwood, pink pepper and patchouli in the base. A sparkling citrus-floral.
Spring rain on a citrus grove. Peony and rose bloom soft through the mist, kumquat, bergamot and amalfi lemon shine like wet fruit, water notes and green accords smell of rain on leaves. Osmanthus adds its strange apricot-tea glow; pink pepper keeps it sparkling. It is the definition of fresh-floral. Light as air, pretty as morning. The osmanthus is doing something magical here — that apricot-tea glow threading through the citrus and rain like sunlight through clouds. Sandalwood in the base keeps it from floating away entirely. It smells like the first warm day after a long winter. Beginner-friendly.
