Composition
One of Creed's oldest scents, created in 1845 for Queen Victoria around the finest Bulgarian rose. Bergamot opens, rose dominates the heart, and musk with ambergris linger in the base.
To me this smells like bergamot lifting like morning mist over the finest Bulgarian rose — the queen of flowers, alone and unadorned. Musk and ambergris settle underneath, soft and warm, like skin after a long bath. It has worn this way since 1845, for Queen Victoria herself. It is rose at its purest: timeless, regal, and quietly perfect. Beginner-friendly — the simplest, most beautiful rose imaginable.
