A Private Blend oriental-woody for women and men launched in late 2021, created by Rodrigo Flores-Roux. Incense, palo santo, black pepper and violet leaf open it; leather, labdanum, cade oil, papyrus and rose form the heart; resins, ebony tree and guaiac wood close it. Smoked ebony — the purifying essence of palo santo wrapped in leather and resins, in a clear bottle with a wood-embossed plaque.
Scent story
To me this smells like a temple that burned down and was rebuilt around the smoke — incense, palo santo, black pepper and violet leaf opening in a haze of sacred woodsmoke, and then leather, labdanum and cade oil rising dark and tarry like the fire never fully went out. Papyrus and rose flicker through like half-remembered prayers, and resins, ebony and guaiac wood smolder in the base for hours. This is not a perfume you wear; it is a ritual you submit to. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
