Composition
Launched in 2006, composed by Olivier Polge — the red tea chapter of Bvlgari's tea line. Pink pepper, bergamot and orange open over tea and fig, with walnut, resin and musk in the base. A gentler, warmer tea scent with a nutty-gourmand edge.
To me this smells like afternoon tea in a Darjeeling planter's bungalow — but make it interesting. Red tea, malty and warm; fig, ripe and honeyed, split open on a plate; walnut, earthy and rich. Pink pepper and bergamot and orange sparkle through like conversation. Resin glows underneath like polished wood, and musk softens the edges like a well-worn armchair. It's cosy without being sleepy, refined without being stiff. The smell of long conversations, second cups, and rain on the veranda. Beginner-friendly.
