Composition
E Green Fougere is part of Clive Christian's Private Collection, launched in 2017 and composed by Tim Gage. A fougère built around aromatic lavender, it pairs the classic fern-lavender structure with a feminine heart of rose and narcissus, framed by fruity top nuances of bergamot, lime and pineapple and a mossy base of oakmoss, clover and vetiver. Sold at 20% perfume concentration in the collection's signature illuminated-letter flacon.
Think of a British garden just after morning rain — crushed lavender between your fingers, wet ferns, a soft breath of rose drifting over green moss. E Green Fougere takes the classically masculine fougère skeleton and dresses it in flowers, keeping it crisp rather than sweet. In India it wears best in the monsoon or cooler months, when the green notes feel alive instead of fighting the heat. A confident, polished choice for women who find most florals too sugary; beginners may want to sample, as true green fougeres are an acquired taste.
