Composition
A fruity-floral eau de parfum from Maison Alhambra's Delilah line. Pear, mandarin orange, bergamot and peach open bright and juicy, a violet-led heart of lilac, violet, lily of the valley and lavender follows, and white musk, cream, sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla settle the soft base.
This smells like a spring garden seen through a lace curtain. Pear and peach juice on the air, mandarin brightness, then a whole violet hour of lilacs — lilac, violet, lily of the valley, lavender — powdery and blue and impossibly soft. White musk and cream make it feel like fresh linen; vanilla and sandalwood keep it warm. It is the olfactory equivalent of a watercolor. Gentle from first spray to last. The patchouli is barely there — just a breath of earth under all that petal and cream, like soil under a garden. It keeps the whole watercolor from washing away. Beginner-friendly.
