Composition
A deep, refined parfum reinterpretation of the 1998 classic by Mathilde Laurent. Bitter orange opens onto warm cardamom, cumin and spices over a rich base of leather, cedar, benzoin, vetiver, tolu balsam and amberwood.
To me this is a festival night — bitter orange, zesty and green-edged electric, warm and a little dangerous. Underneath, Cardamom, green and camphorous-spicy, cumin, sweaty and earthy-spicy and warm spices gather like a slow chord, deepening everything around them. It closes on Leather, dark and supple, dry cedar, pencil-shaving woods, benzoin, warm golden resin, vetiver, green and earthy, tolu balsam, warm sweet resin and amberwood, dry and radiant, a finish that feels both clean and indulgent. It smells like arriving exactly where you meant to be. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
