Darley is an oriental-fougere eau de toilette for men by Francis Deleamont, launched in 2009. It opens with mint, bergamot and Amalfi lemon, develops lavender, cinnamon, African orange flower, rose and rosemary in the heart, and settles into tonka bean, sandalwood, amber, guaiac wood and patchouli.
Scent story
To me this smells like the first hour of a perfect summer morning — mint crushed between your fingers, Amalfi lemon and bergamot fizzing like cold sparkling water. It's so fresh it almost has a sound: ice cubes in a tall glass. Lavender rolls in like a field in Provence, cinnamon and rosemary warming it from underneath, African orange flower and rose adding a soft floral hum. Tonka bean and sandalwood melt it into something creamy and golden, amber glowing at the edges. Bright, aromatic, endlessly wearable. The EDT that never offends and always refreshes. Beginner-friendly.
