Scent story

This is a pool party in a bottle, and I love it for exactly that. Cucumber and lime and mint and bergamot open ice-cold and green, like a drink with too much ice on a Delhi afternoon, and then sea water and green apple and lotus and rosemary keep it aquatic and fresh — the smell of chlorine and sunscreen and someone's laughter. Rum, oakmoss, woods and sandalwood dry it down warm and a little boozy, like the evening after the pool. It's simple, it's fun, it's gone by dinner. Summer flings don't last, and neither does this. That's the point. Beginner-friendly.
