Composition
Chance Eau Vive by Chanel is a women's floral fragrance launched in June 2015 as an Eau de Toilette, the fourth edition in the Chance collection. It opens with sparkling grapefruit and blood orange, centers on jasmine, and finishes on a fresh base of vetiver and white musk.
To me this smells like a morning you actually look forward to. Grapefruit and blood orange fizz first, sparkling and a little tart, like juice squeezed over ice. Jasmine floats through the middle, light as a curtain in a breeze. The dry down is vetiver and white musk — clean, green, quietly alive. It does not demand attention; it just makes the day feel luckier. Hard to go wrong with this one.
