Composition
Armaf Bucephalus Xi is a unisex Eau de Parfum launched in 2019. An amber-fruity opening with black currant, pineapple and bergamot, moving through myrrh, jasmine and rose, and resting on vanilla, amber, oakmoss and musk. Rich, fruity and resinous.
Bucephalus Xi (named for Alexander's horse) is a charge — black currant and pineapple bold and fruity at first, like a banner unfurling, then myrrh adding a dark, resinous depth, like incense in a temple. The jasmine-rose heart is lush, the vanilla-amber base warm and golden. It's a rich, dramatic scent — for those who like their fragrances with history and heft. The myrrh here is the star: ancient, mysterious, compelling. Beginners: rich and resinous — intriguing, but not a first perfume.
