Composition
Bottega Veneta Eau Legere (2013) is the lighter Eau de Toilette take on the debut scent, for women. Pink pepper and bergamot open into gardenia and jasmine, resting on oakmoss and musk. A sheer, breezy interpretation of the original leather-chypre.
Eau Legere keeps the spirit of the original but swaps the leather jacket for a white cotton shirt — the same pink-pepper brightness opens, but gardenia and jasmine bloom at the heart in place of smoky leather. The oakmoss base is soft and earthy, giving it a green, dewy feel. This is the Bottega Veneta for people who found the original too heavy: fresh, floral, and easy in Indian weather. Very beginner-friendly.
