Composition
Boond Ruh Gulab is a traditional alcohol-free attar from Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, crafted by Boond Fragrances using the centuries-old Deg-Bhapka copper-vessel distillation. Pure oil — a drop or two is enough, and it blooms with body heat.
Ruh Gulab is the soul of the rose, literally. It opens with rose and a breath of morning dew, impossibly fresh, and then deepens into a rich, jammy rose heart with geranium's green edge. Sandalwood and musk hold it all like a velvet cushion. To me it smells like Kannauj at dawn during rose season, the whole town breathing flowers. This is what rose attar is supposed to be. A beautiful first attar — the rose everyone should meet.
