Composition
Launched in 2004 as the night flanker of BLV Pour Homme. Galangal and tobacco blossom open over spices and ginger, with dark chocolate and woods in the base. A soft, gourmand-tinged woody-spicy for men.
To me this is a cigar bar after midnight — galangal sharp as a first sip, tobacco blossom sweet and green, then spices and ginger warming like good conversation. The base is dark chocolate and woods, rich and smooth, the smell of leather chairs and low light. It is the nightcap of fragrances — warm, boozy-sweet, and completely grown-up. A classic for a reason. Ginger heats the tobacco blossom like a slow burn. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
