It opens sharp and electric with pink pepper, saffron and bitter grapefruit, turns smoky in the heart with rich tobacco, cedarwood and a touch of vanilla, and settles into earthy patchouli, resinous frankincense, smooth cashmeran and dry amber. If Asad is the night out, Elixir is the headline act.
Scent story
This opens like the first sip of something mulled and warming — Pink pepper, rosy and sparkling, saffron, metallic-spicy and golden and grapefruit, bitter and sparkling spiced and glowing from within. The middle belongs to Tobacco, dry and honeyed-dark, vanilla, creamy and sweet and dry cedar, pencil-shaving woods, which melt together into something lush and enveloping. A thread of amber warmth stitches the whole thing into one seamless piece. Finally Light amber, soft golden warmth, frankincense, cold sacred smoke, patchouli, dark and earthy-sweet and cashmeran, velvety musky woods remain, like embers glowing softly under everything.
