To me this is a blue hour in a spice market — cumin and almond and heliotrope strange and powdery, then sage and lavender and bergamot and bitter almond, aromatic and sweet, like dusk itself. The base is sandalwood and jasmine and amber and vanilla, warm and golden, the market after closing. It is the craze in blue: almond, powder, and mystery. Unusual, and all the better for it.
