I Am The King (Ana Al Malik) is a 2021 Oriental Eau de Parfum from Ard Al Zaafaran, marketed to men in the crown-capped bottle. It opens with bergamot and black pepper over a lavender-Sichuan pepper-pink pepper-vetiver-patchouli-geranium-elemi heart, drying down to ambroxan, cedar and labdanum. Widely worn as the house's fresh-spicy masculine in the Dior Sauvage style.
The opening is pure confidence — bergamot and cracked black pepper, sharp and sparkling like the first cold morning of December. Lavender and Sichuan pepper keep the heart aromatic and tingling, with vetiver and patchouli adding green depth. The dry-down is smooth and modern: ambroxan warmth, dry cedar, resinous labdanum. It smells like the guy who always gets the promotion. Beginners: one of the safest men's blind buys in the affordable Arabian range — fresh, versatile, office-approved.
