The original Aqva smells like the sea as a mineral, not a postcard. Mandarin and orange open bright, then santolina and cotton give it a strange, soft herbal heart, like sea air through linen. The base is mineral amber and woods, salty and warm at once. To me it is the thinking man's aquatic, less sporty, more elemental. An easy recommendation for most noses.
