Composition
An unexpected, hypnotic combination of black coffee and oud by Pierre Montale. Black currant, bergamot and peach open into coffee, amber and floral notes, over woody notes, sweet notes and white musk.
To me this smells like your favorite café on a rainy afternoon — black currant dark and jammy, bergamot bright, peach soft and golden, and then the coffee: real espresso, dark roast, the smell of the grinder and the steam wand. It's the reason you came in. Amber warms it like the café's wood paneling, floral notes drift through like someone's perfume at the next table, and it settles into woods and sweet notes over clean white musk — cozy, enveloping, the smell of staying for one more cup. Sweet, warm, comforting. Despite the name, there's no oud ambush here. Just coffee, done beautifully. Beginner-friendly.
