Composition
Kilian's cognac-led gourmand from The Liquors line, built around real cognac essence. It opens on cognac oil, then blends oak absolute, cinnamon essence and tonka bean, drying down to sandalwood, praline and vanilla. The extracted cognac essence gives the juice its natural caramel color.
To me this smells like standing inside a cognac barrel room in Cognac, where the air itself is drunk. Cognac oil hits first — rich, oaky, unmistakably boozy — the angel's share evaporating off the barrels and into your clothes. Then cinnamon and tonka bean swirl through like spiced warmth, oak absolute deepening the wood. The dry-down is dessert: praline and vanilla melting together, sandalwood smoothing it into something creamy and endless. It is the most delicious thing Kilian ever made, and it knows it. You will smell like the best night of your life. Beginner-friendly.
