Composition
Amyris Homme is a masculine eau de toilette from Maison Francis Kurkdjian, launched in 2012. It opens with Sicilian Mandarin and Rosemary. The heart reveals Amyris, Iris, Milk Chocolate, Coconut and Coffee settling into a base of Tonka Bean and Agarwood (oud). Its character is defined by Aromatic, Woody and Citrus accords.
To me this smells like a beach bar in the Caribbean where the chocolate is local and the rum is strong. Sicilian mandarin bursts bright and juicy, then amyris — that soft, woody Caribbean cousin — smooths everything into warm wood. Milk chocolate and coconut melt together like a dessert served in the shell, with coffee adding a dark, roasted depth. A whisper of oud darkens the base, just enough to keep it interesting. It's a gourmand with sand between its toes — sweet, warm, and completely at ease. Beginner-friendly.
