Composition
Aqua Vitae Forte is a unisex eau de toilette from Maison Francis Kurkdjian. It opens with Lemon, Guatemalan Cardamom, Sicilian Mandarin, Ceylon Cinnamon, Bergamot and Pink Pepper. The heart reveals Madagascar Ylang-Ylang and Tunisian Orange Blossom settling into a base of Sandalwood and Haitian Vetiver. Its character is defined by Citrus, Warm Spicy and Woody accords.
To me this smells like the water of life, literally — lemon and Sicilian mandarin bright as a mountain spring, Guatemalan cardamom and Ceylon cinnamon spicing the banks, bergamot sparkling over stones. Pink pepper snaps like cold air, ylang-ylang golden as late sun. Orange blossom blooms through the middle, sandalwood and Haitian vetiver grounding it in earth. It is freshness with soul: citrus, spice, and something almost spiritual. The pink pepper keeps snapping like cold air, bright and bracing, no matter how warm the day gets. Beginner-friendly.
