Amethyst Éclat is a brighter successor to the 2007 Amethyst, housed in the same crystal flacon. It opens with raspberry, black currant and nashi pear, developing into a peony-dominated floral heart with rose and magnolia. The base pairs blackberry with musk and violet woodsorrel.
Scent story
To me this smells like a jewel box lined with berries. Raspberry, black currant and nashi pear glitter at the opening — juicy, bright, a little tart — and then peony takes over, soft and rosy, with rose and magnolia in quiet support. The blackberry and musk drydown keeps it sweet and cozy without ever getting heavy. It is the brighter, more mischievous little sister of the original Amethyst, and it knows it. It wears like costume jewelry that turns out to be real — playful at first glance, genuinely pretty up close. Beginner-friendly.
