Althair Exclusif is a 2026 Eau de Parfum flanker to Parfums de Marly's bestselling Althair, created by Hamid Merati-Kashani. It deepens the original's Bourbon vanilla with boozy amaretto and golden saffron up top, a spiced praline and orange blossom heart, and a guaiac wood and ambrox base. Richer, sweeter and more opulent than the original.

If Althair was vanilla wearing a tailored suit, Althair Exclusif is vanilla at a midnight salon — amaretto and saffron pour over the opening like liqueur, nutty and intoxicating, before cinnamon, cardamom and praline build a warm, candied heart. The Bourbon vanilla here is denser and darker than the original, wrapped in smoky guaiac wood that keeps it from turning juvenile. It is unabashedly sweet and will fill a room; in India, this is strictly an evening and winter fragrance, and even then, restraint is advised. Beginners tempted by the vanilla should sample first — this is intensity, not comfort.
