The fragrance features Peach, Vanilla, Mandarin Orange, Jasmine, Bergamot, Magnolia, Cedar, Orange Blossom, Vetiver, Rose, Peony and Lotus. Chanel describes Allure as: "Difficult to define, impossible to resist. Clean and sheer, warm and sexy, ALLURE is a floral, fresh Oriental fragrance that finds an expression unique to each woman. Because every woman has her own special allure." And on the composition: "Sparkling notes of Mandarin combine with the softness of May Rose and the sensuality of Vanilla. The Eau de Parfum — closest in strength and character to the Parfum form — features an intoxicating Passion Fruit note with a Peony accord and a warmer Oriental facet."
Scent story
The evening version of the Allure idea, deeper and more golden. The same bright citrus and white-flower heart, but here the vanilla-amber base takes over like dusk settling, warm and a little intoxicating. It smells like getting ready for a night out while the sun goes down, silk, perfume, anticipation. The florals glow rather than sparkle now. This is Allure after dark, and it is beautiful. Easy to love, even for beginners.
