Scent story

To me this smells like a rose that grew up in a temple — and despite the name, there's no oud in the notes here, just resin and flower in perfect balance. Labdanum, thick and ambery, like incense smoke caught in sunbeams; rose and ylang and geranium blooming through it, lush and golden. Patchouli and cedar underneath, earthy and woody; benzoin and amber glowing like brass lamps. It's warm, balsamic, deeply comforting — the smell of old wood, old flowers, and quiet devotion. Misnamed, maybe, but beautiful. Beginner-friendly.
