Composition
Loulou Noir by Al Haramain is an eau de parfum for women, launched in 2024. It opens with Lavender, Grapefruit, Pineapple and Bergamot; the heart features Cinnamon, Jasmine, Geranium and Juniper; and the base is Cedar, Amber, Patchouli and Vetiver. The composition reads predominantly woody, lavender and amber.
To me this smells like a garden at midnight — everything familiar, but transformed by darkness. Lavender, grapefruit, pineapple and bergamot open bright against the dark, like lanterns in the trees, fresh and a little bit electric. It is the smell of a night just beginning. Cinnamon, jasmine, geranium and juniper deepen the heart — warm spice, white flowers, green needles, all going nocturnal and mysterious — and cedar, amber, patchouli and vetiver settle underneath, woody and earthy and deep as the night itself. Dark in name, luminous in spirit: a midnight that welcomes you in. Beginner-friendly.
