Composition
Azlan Oud Amber Edition by Al Haramain is an eau de parfum unisex, launched in 2024. It opens with Clary Sage, Grapefruit and Bergamot; the heart features Leather, Fruity Notes, Watery Notes and Carnation; and the base is Guaiac Wood, Amber, Tonka Bean, Caramel, Cedarwood, Musk, Vanilla and Balsamic Notes. The composition reads predominantly amber, leather and woody.
To me this is a leather armchair in a room full of caramel — clary sage and grapefruit first, bright and aromatic, then leather rolling in smooth and dark, like the chair's been sat in for decades. Fruity and watery notes keep it from getting too serious. Guaiac wood, amber, tonka, and caramel in the base melt everything into golden warmth — like the library at dusk, fire lit, a glass of something in hand. Cedarwood, musk, vanilla, and balsam deepen it into pure comfort. Rich, leathery, and quietly decadent. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
