Composition
Launched in 1995, composed by Dominique Ropion. Tangerine, artemisia and black currant open over rose, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and clove, with peach, tonka bean, sandalwood, raspberry, vanilla, patchouli and vetiver in the base. A classic 1990s fruity-floral with a warm, powdery drydown.
To me this smells like 1995 in the best possible way — a vanity table covered in fruit and flowers and possibility. Tangerine, artemisia and black currant open bright and juicy, sparkling like a new CD catching the light. It is the smell of optimism, bottled. Rose, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and clove bloom into the heart — a proper floral bouquet with a spicy wink — and peach, tonka, sandalwood, raspberry, vanilla and patchouli melt into a base that is warm, powdery, and endlessly comforting. It smells like the decade when everything felt possible, and honestly, wearing it still does. Beginner-friendly.
